What Should A Girl Wear To Paintballing

What a girl should wear depends on the type of game they are playing. If they are playing with friends or family or for the first time as a private play, not an open play, they won’t need so much extra gear, but a few essentials that will cover them fully and keep them protected. Let’s explore more-

Essential Wearing For A Girl For paintballing

Face and Head

Face and head are the most important part of our body, so we have to think about protecting them first, then others body parts. Here no discrimination between men and women. A helmet, also known as goggles, is designed for both men and women and is the most essential paintball gear you need.  You have to buy an ASTM-certified paintball mask to protect your face and head. But when you are a girl, you have problems with your hair. So before wearing the face mask, you must tie your hair in a beanie or with a headband so they don’t trouble you during the paintball play.

Upper body:

As we know, paintball hurts a lot if shot at sensitive areas, especially on bare skin. So the first wearing for a girl would be a padded bra to protect the breast from a heavy hit. Then wear a sleeveless top or tank top, whatever you like, and put a sweatshirt, long sleeve shirt, or hoodie on top of it. You know layer clothes will give you more protection. If you are worried about summer, I will also talk about that below.

Lower body

Leggings and yoga pants are more comfortable for women, so you can go with them. But you have to wear long baggy pants like cargo pants or sweat pants above the legging. And you must avoid jeans, short skirts, short pants, etc.; they are not the perfect fit for women in paintball games. Make sure you have a full cover of your legs with comfortable clothes.

Footwear

Here most of the women will be disheartened as they will have to leave their loved heels. In a paintball game, you have to wear shoes that give you great gripping power. If you are thinking about wearing your regular sneaker or tennis shoes, that also won’t work well for you. You have to wear good quality hiking boots. Because paintball has a chance of falling, falling on a paintball field will cause you a lot of pain.

Gloves

A hand is another important part of our body. And you must know a paintball shot at high speed, 300 feet per shot from a paintball gun, can break your finger. So protecting your hand is also essential. Wearing regular fingerless gloves or full-finger hand gloves is fine while paintballing, but you have to keep in mind the gloves are friendly to press the trigger.

Padded Wearing For A Girl For Paintball

Just like boys, a girl should also wear padded clothing for playing paintball to protect herself from injury. Padded clothing offers increased protection against the impact of shots and also prevents blisters and chafing. In addition to this, it keeps paintball players warm and comfortable during winter weather conditions.

Wearing padded clothing can help reduce the risk of getting injured in other ways as well, such as falls or collisions with teammates or opponents. So it’s important for everyone, including girls, to wear padded clothes to protect against injuries. Let’s know what includes in padded clothing in paintball.

Padded bra

Though a padded bra is an essential piece of clothing for girls in paintball, still repeating it in padded clothing to let you know how important it is. When you are wearing a padded bra, the breasts will be compressed and protect your breast from being hardly hit by balls. Additionally, wearing a padded bra will give you extra padding and keep you more comfortable throughout the game as it provides extra support for your chest.

Chest protector:

After wearing a padded bra, most of the breast injury risk is reduced, but as it is a sensitive area and paintballs hurt really hard otherwise, it’s not a low impact paint, so wearing a chest protector is also needed. It will give your full chest extra protection along with the back. If someone shoots a paintball player with the paintball marker from the back, the chest protector will save her spine from getting injured.

Elbow pads:

Elbow pads can be a great help when playing paintball, as they protect your elbows and shoulders from being injured. When you are wearing elbow pads,  elbow pads reduce the risk of getting bruises or abrasions on the front of your shoulder, and the padding helps to cushion any impact that may happen. This will reduce the risk of injury to your elbows and forearms and make it easier for you to play with maximum intensity.

Knee pads:

Knee pads can help keep your knees safe and protected when you are playing paintball. When you wear knee pads, you are less likely to get injured after being hit with a ball or marker because they reduce the impact on your knees.  Additionally, they can also help keep the legs and feet safe when you fall and protect your skin from getting scratched and serious infections.

Extra Protective Gears For A  Girl For Paintball

There are many extra protective gears in paintball that can help to increase your chance of winning. Some of the extra protective gear in paintball includes masks, goggles, and other equipment that helps players to stay safe and healthy while playing. Masks protect the face from debris and particles that may be thrown by opponents, goggles help reduce glare so you can see more clearly in dark areas, and protective clothing protects you from contact with hazardous objects or surfaces.

Find out about the extra protective gear that can enhance your paintball experience, but you can also play without them.

Headband:

Headband helps in paintball by preventing head injuries. They are made with soft, stretchy materials and attached securely to the head and stay put during the game for head protection. This prevents the player’s hair from being pulled or caught in the gear, which can result in pain and injury. In addition, it prevents sweat from accumulating on your face and eyes, reducing irritation and headaches.

Ski mask:

Ski masks are designed to protect people’s faces when they’re playing paintball by stopping paintball paint pellets from hitting their faces. When you wear a ski mask, it creates an opaque barrier that blocks out light and prevents glare on your vision. This makes it easier for you to see where the ball is going and lessens the chance of getting hit in the eye. This paintball equipment also protects the head and face from getting scratched or hurt by any shrapnel that may be flying around during play.

Additionally, Ski masks can help reduce exposure to other harmful elements and keep skin protected from scratches and bruises,

Neck protector:

Paintball is a very dangerous sport, and wearing proper safety gear is essential to protect you from serious injury. One of the most important pieces of safety gear that you should wear is a neck protector. It is a piece of equipment made from a stretchy neoprene material that is soft on the skin but strong enough to prevent scratches or other damage.

Neck injuries can occur like cervical spine (neck) injuries from Paintball balls flying into them at high speeds. It fit snuggly around the throat and helps in paintball by preventing injuries to the neck and shoulders from a ball strike.

Hat:

While not every paintballer needs a hat, those who play in extreme environments or tournaments where headshots are common may benefit from wearing one. A good paintball hat should have a snug fit so that it does not move around while you are playing and be made out of materials that will not absorb moisture or become soaked with sweat.

It will help to keep the head warm in cold weather conditions or when playing in wet environments and protect from the sun on hot days. So, by wearing a hat, you not only reduce the risk of getting hurt, but you are also less likely to suffer from excessive exposure to the sun.

Tactical vest:

Tactical vests are often worn by players who engage in paintball to provide protection from shots that may otherwise injure them. Tactical vests are often made of leather or ballistic nylon and come equipped with pockets for storage of additional equipment, such as paint or first aid supplies. They have adjustable straps that allow them to fit snugly over clothes, so they do not move around while playing, making them less likely to become a target. Most importantly, these vests protect the body from blunt trauma such as gunshots and impact injuries caused by collisions with obstacles on the battlefield.

Consequently, tactical vests improve your overall survivability on the field, which will lead to increased chances of winning games!

As we know it’s best to wear layers of clothing in paintball to save ourselves from shots, but what about those hot days of summer? How can we play with so much clothing when we can’t stop sweating? • With hair, you will have to face a little hassle, so you can make a beanie or wear a headband to avoid this problem.
  • Now, if we talk about footwear, you can’t make any compromise here. Whether it’s winter or summer, you must wear great gripping hiking shoes.

  • Wear leggings underneath or warmer yoga pants, and then wear another long pant or two if you want.
  • Wear all the padded clothing and protective gear without thinking of sweating and be safer from paintball impact and other injuries.
